Memorandum on cooperation between the Joint Traffic Association of Employers of Ukraine and rectors of higher technical educational institutions of Ukraine
15 of December 2010 in Kiev between the Association of Rectors of higher technical educational institutions of Ukraine, which is headed by the Rector of NTU "KPI" Michael Zgurovsky, and Joint Movement of Employers of Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation. The Memorandum is the first initiative of the chairman and founder of Group DF Dmitry Firtash as chairman of the Joint Movement of Employers of Ukraine, on this position he was elected in early December 2010. To the movement of employers are entered into the composition businesses and organizations, which employ nearly 8 million people. Dmitry Firtash also was appointed co-chairman of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council under President of Ukraine.
Memorandum confirms resumption of cooperation of educational and research centers with employers and provides for the pooling of resources, capabilities and experience of industry and research centers for joint projects to increase efficiency and competitiveness of the economy of Ukraine.
The priorities identified trained technicians, according to labor market needs and implementing innovative achievements of Ukrainian scientists.
Employers and representatives of technical universities have decided to take joint measures to enable the parties to participate in shaping public procurement specialists, according to the actual needs of the market.
The parties also agreed to develop a regional network of innovation centers at the technical universities from the experience of the first in the state of scientific park "Kyiv Polytechnic".
The parties announced their intention to work together to promote education among young people in technical professions. Employers have expressed willingness to facilitate the updating of material base of technical schools, and the passage of students and teaching practice in enterprises, institutions and organizations that are members of employers' organizations.
The first step towards cooperation with educational centers was the signing of MOU between the Group Companies Group DF and NTU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
