    IT Tools for Teachers

    GlobalLogic Education invites teachers to join the IT Tools for Teachers course. The course will be held in the format of online lectures with the opportunity to communicate with experts and ask all the necessary questions. Participants will also have access to training materials and links to additional resources for a deeper study of topics of interest. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certificates.

    Classes will start on July 4, 2023 in the format of Zoom webinars.
    The course lasts for 1 month (12 lectures).

    Science that saves

    Tomorrow, on 10 June, KhPI invites you to the event “Science that Saves” – an unusual eco-friendly STEM fair and a masterclass with Arduino!

    Here, students, teachers and everyone will be able to deepen their knowledge in the field of environmental protection and STEM!

    The fair will feature all kinds of experiments and demonstrations, where participants will be able to see and test various devices and developments aimed at preserving natural resources, restoring the ecosystem and reducing the negative impact of human activity on the environment.

    The Arduino workshop, supported by the IEEE Ukraine Section, will allow participants to learn simple programming steps and build devices that can help preserve the environment.

    The event is organised with the support of the Kharkiv City Youth Leisure Centre of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council.

    The event will take place offline on the 1st floor of the Nikolsky shopping mall near the big screen from 12:00 to 15:00. Come and join us! Let’s take care of the future together!

    Young scientist of KhPI was awarded the prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

    Polytechnics of NTU “KhPI” were awarded prizes for high-quality scientific works, which were recognised by the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine within the framework of the 2022 competition. Kseniia Minakova, a young scientist, PhD in Physics and Mathematics and Associate Professor of NTU “KhPI”, was awarded in the category “Physics and Astronomy” for developing an energy source based on solar cells for the CubeSat nanosatellite.

    Pavlo Fesenko, a 5th year student of the Department of Micro- and Nanoelectronics of KhPI, received a diploma from the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for his research on microcontact welding processes of photoconverters for solar cells and modelling of new design solutions. Kseniia was the supervisor of this competitive project.

  • KhPI Grant Writing 2023

    KhPI Grant Writing 2023

    KhPI Grant Writing 2023, organised by the YSC together with the Institute of Education and Science in Power Engineering, Electronics and Electromechanics and the Institute of Education and Science in Engineering and Physics, has finished at NTU “KhPI”. Almost 40 postgraduate students and employees of the Institute of Education and Science in Power Engineering, Electronics and Electromechanics, as well as Engineering and Physics successfully completed the KhPI Grant Writing 2023. For two months (from 17 April to 5 June), the participants attended intensive lectures and workshops to help them learn how to write grants, get acquainted with funding initiatives, and develop technical and personal skills. Upon successful completion of the course, all graduates received certificates. The lecturers were scientists and teachers with many years of experience in implementing grant projects – Roman Tomashevskyi (Director of the Institute of Education and Science in Power Engineering, Electronics and Electromechanics), Oleksii Larin (Institute of Education and Science in Engineering and Physics) Dmytro Danylchenko (Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Transmission,) Stanislav Fedorchuk (Senior Lecturer of the Department of Electric Power Stations) and Kseniia Minakova (Associate Professor of the Department of Physics).

    KhPI Grant Writing 2023 covered various topics necessary for developing grant writing skills, including the typical structure of a grant application, project budget, application methodology, team building and role assignment, goal setting, project management and its stages, and other aspects.

    According to the participants, after completing the educational programme, it became much clearer to them how to work in the field of funding initiatives. Each participant received a certificate confirming their competencies.

    P.S. The new season of the KhPI Grant Writing School will start soon, and everyone, including those who could not get into the first stream, will be able to apply for participation again.
